Wellman/Indorama are a company operating globally in many different market sectors on multiple continents. In Ireland, they produce Bales of Plastic that are used in many different market sectors. They found themselves in a position where their existing systems were End of Life and this required the development of a piece of middleware software that would sit in between their Balepress Conveyor Belts and their AS-400 Mainframe to manage the bidirectional flow of information. This is a mission-critical application as if it fails production in the plant would cease. Team Konnect we adapted to provide the features and functionality to deliver the required solution.
